Auguri: The shape of an echo appears as a trace

Often we feel disoriented when we find ourselves far from a guide, when the path takes us off-route. It is then that we seek a point of reference to hold onto, avoiding the discomfort of uncertainty. We approach this activation through displacement, with the desire to decentralize bodies and unsettle the paths we’re familiar with. We begin with augury as a prophecy, where two bodies suddenly meet at a corner. Augury as a language, as a warning attributed to birds, their coordinates, and their flights.

This exhibition is a collective work process to think of ourselves in movement, alongside artists Aeren Sànchez, Alicia Arévalo, Caterina Miralles Tagliabue, Elsa Casanova Sampé, Emma Prats, Laia Velasco Flo, Maria Roy, Mireia Molina Costa, Oscar Moya Villanueva, and Teresa w.

*The title alludes to the verse 'Then time became tomorrow, and the shape of echo appeared as a country' by poet Mahmoud Darwish in 'I am from here.'
