(Barcelona, 1995) Caterina Miralles is a young architect and multimedia artist based between London and Barcelona. Caterina holds an RIBA Part 1, Part 2 and MArch from the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) in London. With a bronze medal nomination by the Royal Institution of British Architects.

In recent years, her work has focused on studying the psychological effects of the city. Considering field research, art, and architecture as a single practice, her work offers a cross-disciplinary perspective, moving between various fields, from writing and formal drawing to spatial installations and audiovisual documentaries. The aim is to analyse, visualise, and above all, communicate the social and ethnographic friction points of the built environment; from the urban landscape to the human landscape.

She is currently a resident at the Centro La Escocesa establishing methods to understand architecture as a collective practice, applying artistic tools and viewpoints to generate new foundations for urban planning in Barcelona, specifically in the Poblenou district. She has been awarded with the Premi d’Art Jove, and her work has been exhibited in several spaces such as, Art Nou Festival, Sala d’Art Jove, BoCube Gallery, LOOP Festival, BARQ Festival, Transfer Film Festival Award, London Architecture Film Festival, Venice Architecture Film Festival, La Casa Eencendida among others.
